Dr Helen Fairweather
Consultant Haematologist

Dr Fairweather is an Australian trained Clinical and Laboratory Haematologist.
She began her Haematology training at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane before moving to Victoria to complete her training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital.
Dr Fairweather has worked as a Clinical Haematologist at the Andrew Love Centre since 2009 where she has been involved in the management of patients with both malignant and benign haematological disorders.
She has ongoing involvement in clinical trials as well as an interest in undergraduate teaching with an appointment as an Associate Lecturer with Deakin University.
Dr Fairweather has also worked in Geelong as a Laboratory Haematologist since 2009 with St John of God Pathology and now Australian Clinical Laboratories.
Her areas of special interest include Haematological disorders in pregnancy, disorders of thrombosis and bleeding, inherited blood disorders and other acquired bone marrow.disorders.
